I have booked 3 nights at Tahiti Village Resort as your Time-Share promotion. My wife and I were very excited to visit Tahiti Village as we are shopping for a time-share where I can enjoy with my grandkids.
We drove from Orange County, California on Saturday, August 13 to stay till the 16th and attend the presentation which we were looking for it if we liked the resort.
We arrived at the resort at 6:45 pm.
Went to the reception, and there was a young lady who took my id and cd and said you have to wait for a while because your room is not ready!, I said what is not ready? How? Its almost 7 pm and we drove a very long way to our rest stop to be able to arrive before dark. she ignored me and gave me her back and walked away?
I immediately, asked for a manager, who came and she said what up? I explained to her it's 7 pm now and my room is not ready, how possible is that? She looked at me and went away for a long time. I was completely neglected for a long time.
I became upset and mad as both of them disappeared.
Meanwhile, another lady came and started to help another customer when I asked her for help she said she has another customer and when she is done with him she will help me. When she came to me, I explained to her what happened and it was now more than half-hour waiting, she heard me carelessly which made me more frustrated. I asked for the deputy manager or the GM, but she said nobody is here!
Very frustrated, don't know what to do, I looked to the other side where the concierge was, so I went to them asking for a manager. They were very kind and willing to help.
They tried to get in contact with Greg or Sean who I was told are the resort managers.
What made it worse is when both reception ladies said, you wont have a room here!
What in the world is this?! Where are we? I have traveled to 27 countries, and have stayed at 100s of hotels, I have never seen something like this!?
Of course, I didn't hassle and beg them for my room, I immediately booked another wonderful hotel on the Strip.
I do have videos for all that happened to document everything I have mentioned here.
I will post this letter on every social media plate form as well as with all my clients, friends, and colleagues.
their staff is a disgrace and a shame to work in the tourism business and to be in Vegas.
I am very glad that happened today before involving in any commitment.
I complained them to the BBB, they are still did not refund me my $300 deposit. Please be careful they are SCAMMERS!

Preferred solution: Refund $250, I paid as deposit. Pay the cost of the alternative hotel where we stayed in stead.

Verified Reviewer |This is the worst timeshare
I have been a owner since 2017 and have never been able to reserve my timeshare at Tahiti Village. They say they are always booked although you can find many available rooms on other hotel websites.
This has been an expensive scam. 17K for the time share and 904 per year for maintenance fees. We visited Tahiti Village on a friends time and found the Hotel to be disgusting. The room was old and out dated, the t.v did not work.
Dry blood on the bathroom floor, dry food on tables and counter. Extremely dusty and dirty. The grout in the shower coming a part from the door and surface areas. The list goes on.
There has been no maintenance or updates since we purchased. We are extremely disappointed.

Verified ReviewerPoor customer service
I had a significant reduction in income starting March 2020 through May 2021. Now that I'm catching up due to my income being restored, I attempted to get my maintenance fees up-to-date.
I called the number that had been leaving messages and spoke with I believe Iris. After she took my payment on July 22nd, I asked her directly if my account was now all up-to-date. She said yes, I was now fully paid and could schedule my vacation. I attempted to log onto the RCI website but it said my account was disabled and to contact my home resort.
I decided to give it over the weekend and try again.
The following Monday, I started getting the dunning calls on my voicemail again. Finally, on Friday July 30th, I called again. It turns out Iris had only taken the maintenance fee for one of my two contracts. I asked to speak with a supervisor since I felt it would be beneficial for Iris to have this as a training opportunity to look more closely and not give erroneous information to owners.
A little while later I was called back by "Carmen" who identified herself as a supervisor.
She said she was confused but that I did have another contract maintenance fee due as well as two years of RCI. I thought that was odd since I had paid everything last year so if anything it might have been one year (associated with this year's dues) of RCI but I paid both and asked her to make an effort to get the RCI situation cleared up.
The RCI situation was NOT cleared up by a week later. I called and Carmen happened to answer the phone again. I asked her what was going on with the RCI and she said I'd have to call Owners Services.
I told her I'd spoken to HER about it and that in any service organization I'd ever worked for, the person taking the call was the person who would try and help the client, not just telling them "its not my job" and sending them on their own to start over with another department. I asked to speak with HER manager about this. She put me on hold for several minutes, then returned and told me that her manager refused to speak with me.
This made me livid. A manager refusing to speak with a client about a service issue is appalling enough, but how do I even know she asked her manager anything and hadn't just put me on hold for an amount of time in order to avoid having a service issue documented?
I immediately called Owners Services and after a 35 minute hold a man answered who identified himself as Eric.
Once I had told him I wanted to get an issue with my RCI account rectified and to log a service issue instead of making a reservation, the phone went dead. Had he hung up on me?
I certainly hope it was just one of those situations where a phone system occasionally drops a call, but this led me to feel even more abused as an owner by an organization completely disinterested in any type of service to its long-term clients.
I've owned at a property owned by Soleil Management since 2004. Is this really the level of service I now need to expect?
